Abstract
결론
본 연구는 18세이상의 치과대학교 학생으로 남자 20명, 여자 20명의 Angle씨 I급 정상교
합자를 대상으로 측모 두부 방사선사진을 촬영하여 계측항목을 설정하고 코의 형태와 위치
가 다른 악안면 구조물과의 관계를 규명하고, 남녀간의 유의차를 검증하여 다음과 같은 결
론을 얻었다.
1. Nasal height에서 남녀간의 유의차가 있었고 (P<0.05), 평균값은 남자가 58.23mm, 여자가
54.62mm였다.
2. Nasal length에서 남녀간의 유의차가 있었고 (P<0.05), 평균값은 남자가 54.18mm, 여자가
49.38mm였다.
3. 코의 가장 전방점에서 상악 전치 incisal edge까지의 거리는 남녀간의 유의차가 있었고
(P<0.05), 계측치는 남자에서 더 큰 값을 보이며 서양인에 비해 남녀 공히 작은 값을 나타내었다.

The purpose of this study was to establish a set of standard values for the form of
the nose and its relationship to other craniofacial structures in young korean adults in
angle's class I occlusion.
The subjects were 40(20 male, 20 female) Korean dental students in angle's class I
occlustion. Lateral cephalometric radiographs were used to determine the form of the
nose and its position relative to other craniofacial structures.
The results were obtained as followed.
1. There was a significance between the registered male and female measurements in
nasal height(P<0.05). (Male : 58.23㎜ Female : 54.62㎜)
2. There was a significance between the registered male and female measurements in
nasal length(P<0.05). (Male : 54.18㎜ Female : 49.38㎜)
3. The vertical distances from the tip of the nose in Korean adults were significantly
greater in the male(P<0.05) and were smaller in both sex in comparison with caucasian.
